Kristene Johnson couldn't wait until her 18th birthday. Losing her parents at an early age, she had been caught in the system for most of her life. And although the last few years living with her grandmother had been very nice, she couldn't wait to have a life of her own. A life where she could make her own decisions concerning her destiny.

But she didn't know her destiny had already been decided even before she was in her mother's womb. Kristene had a course set before her as a warrior in the eternal battle of Heaven and Hell. Her special gifts would be useful to both sides of the war and she would be recruited heavily by the two. Confused by the power and promises each offered, it is difficult for her in deciding which side is which. Now at age 18, she must come of age as a woman, as well as a warrior. Either way, the results affect more than she'll ever know.
